Final Book
For my final book review, I plan to read "Libraries, Immigrants, and the American Experience" by Plummer Alston Jones. The topic of immigrants in the public library, and the public library's attitudes towards them, is one of the topics we discussed that most fascinated me. I am in a history course on urban immigration, and plan on doing a final research paper to some degree on libraries and immigrants in Chicago, and I think by reading this book it could further help as a supplement for that project as well. This books seems right up my alley in terms of my interests, so I figured why not? :)
